About me

¡Hola! I’m Pedro, a 29-year old native Spanish speaker from Mexico, and I’m excited to help you on your language-learning journey. As a fully bilingual teacher, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Spanish to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I believe that learning a language should be an engaging and fun experience, so I strive to make my lessons interactive, adaptive, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way with a personalized approach that makes learning Spanish feel natural and enjoyable.

My classes are held in my apartment at Harvard Square. We follow the renowned Difusión curriculum, which helps build a strong foundation in grammar and spelling through logical, step-by-step progression. However, I understand that every student is different, so I always adapt the lessons to meet the unique needs of each group or individual. Whether you’re looking for a more structured approach or prefer a more flexible, conversation-based class, we’ll work together to make sure the lessons are aligned with your personal language goals.

When I’m not teaching Spanish, I work as a scientist in the field of immuno-oncology, where I focus on researching innovative treatments to fight cancer. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for playing tennis and the piano, which help me unwind and stay active. I also enjoy spending time with my cat, Kiwi, who is also bilingual!
